Abby is one of my favorites. I'm probably not supposed to admit to having favorites, the same way that teachers claim to not have favorites, but she is one of the sweetest peanuts I've met. Her dad and I worked together in my first job out of college. He was the steadying force that kept me from crying too often (and by too often, I mean more than once per day) as I quickly realized that sales wasn't my calling. It's been a privilege to watch him and his wife become parents and see Abby grow. While she was a big fan of the balloons during our session, the only way to get her to want anything to do with her birthday cake was to crush goldfish crackers on top. A special thanks to her mom for saving the day with her quick thinking because #momknowsbest.
