There are afternoons you never want to end because the light dapples through the leaves, the air is heavy with distant bonfire smoke, and you feel like you should be getting into the spirit of the season by eating a hundred caramel apples. This was just such an afternoon.
Campbell, who rocks giant side bows and vests better than I ever will, was a joy to capture with her parents. I used to worry about posting sessions during the season that they actually occurred, but lately I've been enjoying revisiting different times of the year to be reminded how truly lucky I am to live in a world with so many seasons. So buckle up because you just might see a winter session followed by a spring session followed by another fall session. Every time a new season rolls around, I think "No, THIS is my favorite time of year to shoot"...until the next season starts.
